As a family we love travelling, but with such a large brood we sometimes come unstuck with ‘family holidays’ as the hotels are not able to accommodate all of us and try to split us into all sorts of strange combinations, now as much as a holiday in a room with just two others sounds quite nice, ideally I wouldn’t mind spending our family holidays as just that – a family!
One alternative that we sometimes choose is to go camping, we haven’t ventured outside of the UK so far, but looking at some of these it is certainly worth considering, not only are they excellent value for money, but they also look stunning, with so much on offer for the entire family, so what are you waiting for, get clicking!

We have been toying with the idea of going camping in Italy. I would love to take the children to where we honeymooned and I think this would be a more affordable option.
This is a great round-up of places, thanks for sharing. Italy is just so beautiful…
