Have You Visited The Royal Air Force Museum ?
Not long until the children have an entire week off school (or a week and one day if you have a son at college!) so we have been thinking about places to visit this half term.
The children LOVE going into London, Eowyn asks me at least once a week “when are we next going to London ?” I am not a huge fan of driving in busy places, so each time I have taken the children to London we have gone via train, our Family and Friends Railcard saves us lots of money and I don’t have the stress of navigating London Cabs!
One place the children are quite keen to visit is the Royal Air Force Museum, they love to learn about history and the boys are very keen on aircraft, the fact that it is free is fabulous, and great for my bank balance, with the seven of them!
Open from 10am to 5pm throughout the winter and until 6pm March to October. There are over 100 aircrafts to see, and the best bit is, its so easy to get to using public transport, and if you don’t believe me, check out this cool video
They have lots of amazing events taking place throughout the year, alongside all of the wonderful aircrafts, check out the website for further details, and if you are wondering where to take the children (or grandchildren) next week, then look no further.
