Great Yarmouth, or ‘Yarmouth’ as its known locally, is a wonderful seaside resort located in East Anglia. There are plenty of amazing Great Yarmouth Holiday Parks, the beach can be found behind the seafront known as ‘The Golden Mile’. It has a number of attractions located along the promenade, as well as numerous amusement arcades.

It is a popular holiday destination with families, both young and old, including multi-generational families. Due to the large amount of cheap caravan holidays available and camping sites around the Great Yarmouth area.

There are a number of Great Yarmouth holidays parks, including Haven, Parkdean Resorts and Park Holidays sites. There are also a few large independent holiday parks and a couple of these can be booked through Hoseasons. All of which provide excellent facilities and entertainment for the entire family.

There are also a number of Bed and Breakfasts and Great Yarmouth Hotels. If you prefer something different to a caravan, tent or lodge.

Haven Holidays Great Yarmouth

Haven Great Yarmouth offers four caravan parks, one in Great Yarmouth and three near Great Yarmouth, all offering amazing facilities and within a short distance from the seaside town.

Wild Duck Great Yarmouth can be found in the beautiful village of Belton, less than 6 miles from Great Yarmouth. The Wild Duck Holiday Park offers the closeness of the seaside resort.

But also a leafy, rural park, with forest trails and wooded areas to explore. Facilities at Wild Duck include both an indoor and outdoor swimming pool, archery, crazy golf and fencing are all on offer.

If you are wanting to get even closer to nature Wild Duck Belton offers Glamping, Camping Pitches and tourer pitches.

Hopton Holiday Village one of the holiday parks near Great Yarmouth

Hopton Holiday Village is located 7 miles outside of Great Yarmouth. It has direct access to Hopton beach and a short drive to the golden sandy beach at Gorleston.

Its also on the Norfolk Broads doorstep. The park has both indoor and outdoor heated swimming pools, an indoor splash zone, tennis courts, 9 hole golf course, four food and drinks venues.

New additions in the last few years include The Marina Lounge, a multi-level indoor soft play area, Oodles family amusements centre, Cook’s Fish and Chips and Papa John’s Pizza, so plenty to amuse the entire family.

Hopton Holiday Village has a choice of self catering caravans for you to stay in, or an option to purchase your own caravan.

Seashore Holiday Park one of the holiday parks near Great Yarmouth

Seashore Holiday Park can be found at the far end of the Great Yarmouth seafront looking out across the Dunes.

The Seashore Great Yarmouth Park has had huge investment into the park this season, with a brand new indoor Shore Water Park, a restyled Coast House Bar and Grill and new indoor and outdoor play areas to keep the little ones busy.

One of the great things about Seashore Holiday park Great Yarmouth is that it has direct access to the beach and dogs are welcome at the park. Accommodation on-site is a choice of self-catering caravans, or the option to purchase your own.

Caister-on-sea Holiday Park one of the holiday parks near Great Yarmouth

Caister-on-sea Holiday Park was first opened in 1906, it is located a few steps away from the sandy beach at Caister, and only a short distance away from the Norfolk Broads.

The Caister holiday park has lots to offer on-site including zip wires, abseiling and climbing walls. For the little ones a soft play area and the entire family will love the heated indoor pool.

Caister on Sea Holiday park has a choice of accommodation, including self catering caravans, touring and camping, or if you are looking for a little bit of luxury, why not check out their stunning Deck Houses.

Exclusive to Caister on Sea Caravan park, they offer a modern and unique feel, with lots of space for the entire family, the deck houses sleep up to 6 people.

Park Holidays Holiday Parks Great Yarmouth

Broadland Sands Holiday Park one of the holiday parks near Great Yarmouth in Corton

Park Holidays have lots of amazing holiday parks throughout the UK, they currently have just one Holiday Park near Great Yarmouth which is Broadland Sands located between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft in a lovely little place called Corton.

It is in a stunning location and has excellent daytime and evening entertainment, this Corton Holiday Park has just had a new Indoor pool with flume installed and it looks fabulous.

They have Adventure Golf, all weather sports pitch, tennis courts, adventure playground. This season they have introduced luxury lodges which sleep up to six people, but if you have a larger family like us, the caravans at Broadland Sands can sleep up to 10 people.

That’s not all they have also added a climbing wall and pottery station, so there really is something to do for all ages.

Parkdean Resorts Holiday Parks Great Yarmouth

Parkdean Resorts have a number of Great Yarmouth Caravan Parks, situated throughout the area, enabling holiday guests to enjoy the hustle and bustle of the seaside town and yet still feel as if they are getting away from it all, there are 6 holiday parks in the area, providing cheap caravan holidays in Norfolk, all offering a little something different.

California Cliffs Holiday Park one of the holiday parks near Great Yarmouth

California Cliffs Holiday Park is located 6 miles from Great Yarmouth, with a beach on its doorstep, the California Cliffs offers a fantastic selection of activities for you to enjoy whilst on the park, if you can tear yourself away from the traditional seaside town of Great Yarmouth.

California Cliffs has both an indoor and outdoor pool with water flume, Crazy Golf and Go Karting are available for a small fee, an all weather multi sports court adventure playground and amusement arcade will keep even the small people amused.

There are a number of caravan options available on-site and can sleep up to 8 people. Some are also dog friendly so there’s no need for your furry best friend to stay home, let them enjoy the break with you.

Cherry Tree Holiday Park one of the holiday parks near Great Yarmouth in Burgh Castle

Cherry Tree Holiday Park is situated in a beautiful little village called Burgh Castle ( I should know as I live there!) It is a short hop into Great Yarmouth, or a relaxing visit to The Norfolk Broads, the village also has a beautiful Roman Fort that is free to visit and explore. If you are looking for a slightly less busy seafront, I recommend Gorleston which has a magnificent Golden Beach.

Cherry Tree Great Yarmouth has an outdoor pool with fountain and an indoor pool with bubble pool. Not forgetting the outdoor toddler pool where little ones can splash safely. It has a Pirate themed Crazy Golf and an all weather multi-sports court to burn off the kids energy, there is a showbar for evening entertainment and family shows.

The choices of caravans at Cherry Tree Caravan Park offer accommodation that sleeps up to 8 people in their caravans, and the lodges can sleep 6 people, both options are also dog friendly.

Summerfields Holiday Park one of the holiday parks near Great Yarmouth in Scratby

Summerfields Holiday Park is located in Scratby Great Yarmouth. Just a ten minute walk from the beach. The park has a large indoor pool, with its own spa bath and sauna. Perfect for a relaxing afternoon.

For the children there is a playground, crazy golf and soft play area. You are also able to use the facilities at California Cliffs just around the corner.  Two holidays for the price of one.

There are various types of accommodation available at Summerfields, including  2 and 3 bedroom caravans. Holiday bungalows and apartments that sleep 4 people, and chalets that can sleep up to 7 people.

Vauxhall Holiday Park one of the holiday parks near Great Yarmouth

Vauxhall Holiday Park is located just on the outer edge of Great Yarmouth. You can walk straight from the park to the seafront. Passing through Great Yarmouth Town Centre on your way.

The only trouble you may have is trying to decide to visit Great Yarmouth beach first.  Or enjoy taking part in all the amazing activities at Vauxhall Holiday Park Great Yarmouth.

The under 12s will adore The Den and the treehouse adventure playground. The teens aren’t forgotten, they will love the chilled out vibe at the Hideout.

Splash about in the Tropical Waterworld pool or tee off in jungle adventure golf. After that there’s snooker and mini-bowling.

The park has two entertainment venues for all your night-time adventures. There is a huge choice of places to stay, including spacious caravans that can sleep up to 8. Comfortable apartments and luxury lodges that can sleep up to 6 people.

However if you wish to get closer to nature you could opt for a touring pitch or camping pitch. Both of which are available at Vauxhall Great Yarmouth.

For something a little different how about glamping in a mega pod which can sleep up to 4 people. It allows you to appreciate the great outdoors with a few home comforts.

Breydon Water Holiday Park one of the holiday parks near Great Yarmouth in Burgh Castle

Breydon Water Holiday Park is another Burgh Castle Caravan park (we really do live in the best village!) just a short stroll from Burgh Castle Roman Fort.

It comprises of two holiday parks in one, Yare Village and Bure Village. You can literally walk out onto the Norfolk Broads from these two parks. Only a short drive for all of the days out in Great Yarmouth.

These two parks are of the prettiest Norfolk Holiday Parks. They are classed as Great Yarmouth Holiday Parks. You really wouldn’t think it when you are sitting outside on your veranda, admiring the view. The Golden sandy beach of Gorleston is less than 5 miles away.

I can definitely recommend a visit there, the children will love the new splash pool. The doughnuts and ice-creams are amazing! Yare Village has fantastic entertainment, an outdoor pool with slide, all weather sports court, adventure playground. Great fun for all the family.

If you are looking for something a little more relaxing, why not relax in the indoor pool at Bure Village. Maybe go for a workout in the fully-equipped gym.

It also has an adventure playground. The great thing is, no matter which site you are staying at, you can use the facilities at both. Accommodation at Breydon Water can sleep up to 8 people in caravans. You also have the option to camp or bring your tourer.

Kessingland Beach Holiday Park one of the holiday parks near Great Yarmouth

Kessingland Beach Holiday Park is located a little further away, but it is one of my favourites and has superb facilities, in fact I used to go on holiday there when I was small with my parents.

Although it is classed as one of the Lowestoft holiday parks, it is close enough that you can enjoy both areas, and you are right on the doorstep of the stunning Africa Alive Wildlife Park.

Kessingland Beach has direct access to the beach. If you prefer a pool, they have a choice of both indoor and outdoor.

If you’d prefer to relax, maybe a dip in the spa bath. The children will adore the adventure playground complete with zip wire.

How about a friendly game of footie on the all-weather multi sports court. For the smaller ones there’s an indoor play area suitable for 3-8 year olds.

Kessingland offers caravans for up to 8 people. But if you’d like something a little different, how about a 2 bedroom chalet that sleeps up to 5 people.

If you are looking for somewhere to pitch a tent with all the facilities included. Kessingland Beach is for you.

All the pitches are 6m x 6m, with Electric, Standard and Super pitches available. We have camped here many times and can definitely recommend.

Independent Holiday Parks Near Great Yarmouth

Hemsby Beach Holiday Park one of the holiday parks near Great Yarmouth

Hemsby Beach Holiday Park is located in the lovely village of Hemsby set just 350 yards from the golden sands and fantastic dunes of Hemsby beach, this Hemsby Caravan Park was refurbished in 2018 featuring some brand new features and facilities, it’s perfect for the entire family, why not try sea-scooters, climbing, lazer clays or body zorbing, the choice is yours to do as much or as little as you please.

The Quarterdeck Showbar features live shows, cabarets and local talent shows, including music from live bands and ever-popular discos. The heated indoor pool will please all family members. The younger members of the family will love the Outdoor Play Area, complete with mini climbing walls. Or maybe a trip to Ellie Elephant Club to meet some new friends and have some fun and games. Perhaps they’ll enjoy the Indoor Soft Play Area.

For the more sporty family members how about the Multi Use Games Area, Trim Trail or Fitness Room. There really is something for everyone. The accommodation Choices at Hemsby Beach include studio apartments, chalets, bungalows, lodges (with hot tubs) and caravans. The occupancy varies depending on which you choose ranging from 2 people up to 10 people.

Potters Resort is the longest running family-owned Resort in the UK, many people think that Potters is an adult holiday, but in fact during the school holidays they have family breaks which are extremely popular, family breaks are designed to satisfy every member of the family, from toddlers to grandparents, giving you the very best in leisure and entertainment.

Activities include Laser Clays, Air Rifle Shooting, 9 Hole Pitch n’ Putt Golf, Archery, Badminton, Tennis, Volleyball, Bowls Rinks. Football Pitch, Squash, Multi-purpose Sports Hall, Netball, New Age Kurling, Pentanque, Short Tennis, Table Tennis. Potters Resort is located in Hopton, between Great Yarmouth and Lowestoft. Accommodation is in a bungalow or Hotel.

As you can see there are some AMAZING Holiday Parks near Great Yarmouth, if holiday parks are not for you, there are a large number of cheap hotels in Great Yarmouth and some stunning Bed & Breakfasts located along the Golden Mile, many of the holiday parks listed have camping and touring facilities, but if you are looking for a quieter location, there are plenty of campsites near Great Yarmouth.
