Thrigby Arts Festival
Location : Car Park of Thrigby Wildlife Park, Filby Rd, Thrigby, Great Yarmouth NR29 3DR
Visitors to Great Yarmouth over the weekend of 10th and 11th September can try their hands at a whole host of arts and crafts including printmaking, pottery, woodcarving, spinning, felting, willow weaving and more at the Thrigby Arts Festival.
The two day event, which takes place in the grounds of Thrigby Hall Wildlife Gardens, sees artists, designer-makers and craftspeople from across the region demonstrating their skills and showcasing and selling their work. Entry to the event is free.

Out There Festival Great Yarmouth
Location : Various venues across Great Yarmouth including St Georges Park and the seafront.
Out There is a massive entirely free and diverse outdoor event taking place at multiple venues across Great Yarmouth from 16th to 18th September. Now in its 14th year its focus is on outdoor arts, circus and street acts.
Awe inspiring spectacle and quirky comedy combine in a festival woven with quality performance, family-friendly atmosphere and more than a fair dose of seaside silliness!

Great Yarmouth Soul Weekender

Lovers of all things soul should head to Great Yarmouth this September 23rd to 26th for an amazing three day Soul Weekender event.
They are flying in from America two iconic ladies of soul, Shirley Jones of The Jones Girls, and Jean Carn. Plus Brit Funk Legends Shakatak are performing.
Staged at Parkdean’s Vauxhall Holiday Park, it features a packed line-up soul across four venues with DJ sets featuring the best new and old school Jazz, Funk and Soul anthems plus sets dedicated to the masters of soul.

Fantastic Fire on the Water Beach Festival
Location : Central Beach, Great Yarmouth
Perfectly timed for October Half Term, Great Yarmouth’s Fire on the Water event (22-29th October) moves to the Golden Mile for 2022.
Taking place on the golden sands of Central Beach this immersive and dynamic outdoor experience will encompass dance & acrobatic performances, dramatic light installations and night-time fire shows.
Visitors will be able to freely explore the fire structures and light installations as there is no set route.
Some fantastic family-friendly making workshops are included in the ticket price and hot food and drink will be available too.
There is also an accessible route for wheelchairs, buggies and mobility scooters. The launch event last year was a sell out so booking is recommended and is pay what you can – £3, £6, £9 or £12 per person.
The gates will open at 6pm each night and close at 10pm.
