Having nine people in a household its always difficult to know what to cook every evening!
Plus one is vegetarian and three of them have really fussy tastebuds, which doesn’t leave many of us to try out new products, so when Swaledale Butchers got in contact and asked if we’d like to have a try of their Sausage Lovers Box, I knew it would be welcomed as the five of us do love sausages!
The Sausage Lovers Box consists of :
- 1 x 600g pack Texan-style Hot Links Sausages
- 1 x 500g pack The Cumberland Sausage
- 1 x 495g pack Yorkshire Breakfast Chipolatas
- 1 x 480g pack Calabrian Sausages
- 1 x 480g pack Coarse Pork Sausages
- 1 x 480g pack Lamb Merguez Sausages
- 1 x 480g pack Toulouse Sausages
- 1 x 480g pack Tuscan-style Pork, Fennel & Red Wine Sausages
- 1 x 480g pack Yorkshire Breakfast Sausages
The Sausages are handmade in small batches, free-from gluten and filled into 100% natural casings;
There really was a sausage to suit each of us, my favourites were the Yorkshire Breakfast Sausages, they tasted exactly how I remembered them from when I lived ‘Up North’ in Barnsley!
The Cumberland Sausage is always a favourite when we go on holiday to the Lake District and the whole family usually jokes because for some reason I have a tendency to cook sausages for most meals while we are away!!
It’s been lovely to try lots of different flavours of sausages, and the fact that it all gets delivered without be having to leave the house is just perfect!
They are delivered in secure cardboard box, with ice packs to ensure they stay cool, and there is the option to freeze them for a later date, which we did with a few of the packs, and they tasted just as delicious after being defrosted.
