On Monday evening I was invited to Norwich Theatre Royal to watch the opening night of The Addams Family UK Tour which is the very last stop on the tour.
We had already booked tickets as an early birthday present for Xene, as it holds a special place in her heart, the Addams family musical was one of the first audition pieces she did for a dance show many years ago! So with the theatres kind invitation I was able to bring all three of the girls to see it.
I was surprised to hear that Norwich was the last showing of this incredible musical, although when I googled it, the show has actually been running since 2010, where does the time go!!

The entire casts musical attributes are utterly stunning, every single person gave it 101 per cent, so many people that deserve a mention!
Eowyn adored all of the ancestors, I LOVED Gomez and his various unwritten lines that had other cast members enjoying the merriment!
Joanna Clifton did a fabulous job of portraying Morticia, every hand movement and reaction was in true Morticia style.
Kara Lane was amazing as Alice, her voice is So powerful.
Kingsley Morton is definitely one to watch out for in the future, she was outstanding as Wednesday, and I am sure she will be headlining on many things in the future.
Scott Paige was fantastic as Fester, SO funny, loved him SO much!
The set was brilliant, quite simple but very effective, I loved the two small balconies that various characters used, the family feast table was perfect.
And not forgetting the music! WOW! What a score, the orchestra was outstanding, so enthusiastic all the way through, I could have watched them all night!
