30 Valentines Day Disney Movies

Who doesn’t love the opportunity to sit down and relax enjoying a great Disney film? We are so fortunate that Disney films cover a wide range of themes, there are some incredible films for the family with themes of love, relationships, and general happiness. So without further ado, here are thirty days of Valentines Day Disney Movies, the love edition:

  1. Cinderella

One of the most popular Disney movies has to be Cinderella. It follows a young girl who lives with her wicked stepmother and annoying sisters. They treat her as a servant and she tends to all their needs. However, one night her fairy godmother changes her life only until midnight. 

  1. Lady & The Tramp

Lady & The Tramp is a classic film. Lady, a cocker spaniel from a well-to-do family, and Tramp live on the streets. Lady is left with a family member while her owner’s holiday, and ends up having to run away. Where she meets Tramp.

  1. Beauty & The Beast

Another beautiful story about a girl falling in love with someone who appears to be unlovable. The Beast was a prince who was cursed by a witch and was destined to stay locked up in his castle. Can Belle bring him back to his former self?

  1. Star Wars Empire Strikes Back

While you may not associate Star Wars with love, there is a number of backstories and relationships that form within the main body of the film’s theme. In this particular film, the love story of Leia and Han is evident throughout the film. 

  1. While You Were Sleeping

The main story follows Lucy who works at the train station. She daydreams about a man, Pete, she sees every day. However, one day he gets into trouble and she saves his life. Only for his family to mistake her for his fiance. 

  1. Princess Diaries 2: A Royal Engagement 

The second film in this series sees Mia as she leaves Princeton University to return to be crowned Queen of Genovia. However, she must marry within one month in order to do so. It is a funny story where Mia falls for the wrong guy who might just turn out to be the right one. 

  1. Princess & The Frog 

The story of a princess kissing a frog that turns into a prince is legendary. However, this story follows Tiana, who kisses a frog and then turns into a frog. A captivating story about how love really can conquer all. 

  1. Aristocats

The Aristocats is a classic film and tale of girl meets boy but in cat form. An Ally cat that promises to protect a cat and her kittens as they make the big journey home after being accidentally abandoned. 

  1. Up

UP showcases a lifelong relationship in the opening credits until Carl Frederickson is left on his own. However, this story doesn’t end there, as it showcases the beautiful relationship that you can have with life. 

  1. Aladdin Live 

The remake of the classic Aladdin film as a live-action film was hugely popular when it was released back in 2019. Follow Aladdin as he finds himself face to face with the princess on the streets as she has snuck out. Finding the lamp and fighting off the evil Jaffar.

  1. The Parent Trap

The Parent Trap is a classic film where two parents who have baby twin daughters decide to split. One parent takes one twin and the other parent takes the other. However, as they get older, they unexpectedly meet. 

  1. The Game Plan

Bachelor Joe, a football star with his team on their way to championship success, seems to have it all. Wealth and happiness. However, when he is presented with the unexpected news that he has a daughter his world changes. 

  1. Winnie The Pooh: A Valentine For You 

When Winnie the Pooh and the gang learn Christopher Robin has fallen in love with a girl, they fear he won’t have time for them. So they go in search of something to cure him of his lovesickness. 

  1. Frozen

Frozen follows the story of Anna and Elsa. Elsa has a secret power where she can freeze things and Anna finds out at Elsa’s coronation. Elsa escapes but freezes Arundell in the process. Anna has to find her while finding some very special characters along the way. 

  1. Enchanted 

Enchanted follows Giselle, she falls in love with Prince Edward, but when Giselle arrives at the palace, she is banished by the evil stepmother into the real world of New York City. Where Giselle fights to make her way back home to her love. 

  1. 10 Things I Hate About You 

In a coming-of-age film, Kat is beautiful but abrasive so doesn’t attract many boys, but her younger sister can’t date until her older sister has a boyfriend. So they try and make that happen. 

  1. Never Been Kissed

Josie, a junior copyright must go back to her old high school and pose as a student to research teen culture but finds that she has her own troublesome love life to deal with, especially as she falls for her English Teacher. 

  1. Tangled 

A Disney adaption of the story of Rapunzel. Captured as a baby, her magical blonde hair has the power of eternal youth, and the evil Gothel uses it to stay young. However, at the age of 18, Rapunzel is curious about the outside world.

  1. Beauty & The Beast Live

The same story as the original animation, a great one to watch if you have older children. 

  1. Stargirl 

A typical teenager high school film where a student is drawing to a new and quirky student where they both change the way they see themselves and each other. Watch on Disney+

  1. High School Musical 

Troy and Gabriella meet and fall for each other at a karaoke party, but when they return to campus, they audition for the school musical, along with juggling their high school commitments with the usual drama thrown in. 

  1. Gnomeo & Juliette

Typically following the story of Romeo and Juliet this animated adaption will capture your hearts and showcase a classic in a fun and receptive way for a younger audience. 

  1. The Little Mermaid 

Arial always wondered what it would be like to have legs and live on land, and her wish is granted by the evil Ursula. But all is not what it seems. 

  1. The Color of Friendship

In 1977, two girls from opposite sides of the world come together and change each other’s lives. A story that challenges beliefs. Watch now on Disney+

  1. CoCo

Although the family has a generational ban on music, Miguel longs to be a musician. The story follows his journey as he meets friends along the way to help his dream come true. 

  1. The Princess Bride

A fairy tale about a beautiful young woman and her one true love. Having been separated he must find her to save her. Along the way, they have battles to come to terms with. 

  1. Splash 

A young boy is saved by a mermaid, and twenty years later, he falls in love with her as she seeks him out. However, he must decide between a life in the sea or staying on land, as a scientist threatens to sabotage the whole thing. 

  1. Tarzan

Tarzan is abandoned as a baby and brought up by gorillas. As he is older, he comes into contact with a research group, and one special lady, Jane. 

  1. Tuck – Everlasting 

The story of Winnie, a teenage girl who longs for a life outside the control of her mother, and when lost in the woods near her home, she happens upon Jesse a boy like no other. 

  1. Wall-e

WALL-E is the last robot left on Earth. He spends his days tidying up the planet. But across 700 years the robot has developed a personality. He is lonely, but then spots EVE a robot sent to Earth on a scanning mission.
